Perris Hill Park Cleanup
In mid-November 2024, the City of San Bernardino undertook a comprehensive two-day operation to clear homeless encampments from Perris Hill Park, the city's largest public green space spanning 64.4 acres. This effort marked the first encampment cleanup since a court injunction was lifted, allowing the city to address health and safety concerns in the park.
4th Street Alley Beautification Project
In March 2022, San Bernardino received a $722,772 Clean California Local Grant to revitalize the 4th Street Alley between D and E Streets in the heart of the Historic Arts District. This beautification project aims to transform the 3,800-square-foot alley into a vibrant public space, enhancing the downtown area's appeal.
